The First Step

The first step is a doozy. I want to keep learning about new technologies and in my line of work, I must keep learning, but I have grave reservations about sending thoughts out into the blogosphere. It seems fleeting and yet permanent (waiting to come back and bite me). And so very public - I already have a problem with holding my tongue. But here goes.
